Hey there — I’m Travis, and I’m diving headfirst into this incredible new world of voiceover.
I’ll be honest, I had a few butterflies when I first stepped up to the mic — who wouldn’t? But somewhere between those first takes and the next round of retakes, I found something I really love: the power of storytelling.
There’s just something about connecting with people through voice — whether it’s bringing a love story to life, guiding someone through a training video, or helping a message land exactly the way it should. I’ve learned that my voice can carry heart, strength, and a little bit of calm all at once — and that’s a feeling I never get tired of. This new journey is a leap, but it’s one I’m taking with excitement, gratitude, and a whole lot of passion for what’s ahead.

Hi, I’m Jamie — and welcome to our porch.
Taking this leap has been one of the biggest — and scariest — things I’ve ever done. I started my career years ago as a radio DJ for a few country music stations across the Midwest, and later found myself behind a different kind of mic — as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. For years, my voice was something people heard on some of the hardest days of their lives.
I’m proud of that work, but my heart started pulling me in a new direction, one where I could use my voice to bring light instead of fear. To tell stories that make people feel something, maybe even smile or escape for a while.
That’s what Porchlight Productions is for me — a dream come to life. And every time I step behind the mic now, I’m reminded that taking this leap of faith wasn’t just worth it… it’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
